Ever since he’d seen a few Walt Disney videos, five-year-old Zack dreamed of visiting the Magic Kingdom . The Make-A-Wish Foundation® made that dream come true for Zack and his family. Zack was diagnosed with leukemia just after his second birthday and had a very rough time his first year on chemotherapy. So, needless to say, this trip was a wonderful chance for everyone to just get away, relax, and forget about everything except having fun! Zack and family stayed in the Give Kids The World Village while in Orlando. Everyone enjoyed day trips to all the parks, including Walt Disney World, MGM Studios and Universal. There were special surprises left for everyone in their cottage every night. And, of all places to run into someone, Zack even got to hang out with Santa in The Village! The moment that Zack’s mom best remembered was watching her son and husband ride the carousel inside the village – and the huge smile painted on her son’s face! Walt Disney World was all that Zack hoped it would be, and much more. For his parents, this wish trip was something that they felt blessed to be given!
