Huntsville Stories
of Light Campaign
In its fourth year, the Huntsville Stories of Light Campaign continues to reach new heights! The campaign will be its most successful to date with the participation of several community groups, corporations and individuals. To kick off the campaign, The Heritage Club in downtown Huntsville hosted a party for the wish families, volunteers and sponsors on Nov. 30. During the campaign, which lasts Dec. 5-9, listen for the wish stories of these children on the Lite 96.9 radio station. For every $5,000 raised (the average cost of a wish) a floor at the Colonial Properties AmSouth building will be illuminated, turning it into a giant "wish thermometer."
Looking for additional ways to participate in Stories of Light? Look for Make-A-Wish volunteers at Parkway Place Mall on the first three Saturdays in December. Make a donation in support of Huntsville’s wish children and receive a free teddy bear or holiday cards! There will also be a pancake breakfast Dec. 10th, 8-11 a.m. at Applebee's on Memorial Parkway. Please call the Huntsville office at 256.534.8832 for further details or directions.
