Stories
of Light® events are being held in eight
regions across Georgia and Alabama this holiday
season. Thanks to friends, volunteers and sponsors,
this year is going to be the brightest Stories of
Light campaign yet for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®
of Georgia and Alabama.
Stories of Light® is a program that allows us to
share some of the inspirational stories of our wish
children and their families. While the stories are
the heart of the program, the campaign’s name
has double meaning. Not only does it refer to the
actual stories of the wish kids, it also refers
to the “lighting of the stories” of
a prominent building in the host chapter’s
community. As local corporations and members of
the community adopt wishes, the chapter’s
representatives illuminate the building one story
at a time, turning it into a giant “wish thermometer." |
